According to the Knox County application page for solicitation, it appears bed bugs might be a concern with library officials. As listed bellow the county is looking for a canine service that can locate bed bugs in our libraries.

4.1 SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work for this solicitation is to perform Canine Pest Detection Services for Knox
County Public Libraries. The canine pest detection services will provide thorough inspections of furnishings,
furniture, equipment and materials contained in the building for the presence or evidence of bed bugs. The
successful bidder shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and
canine inspection services necessary to perform the work described herein
