Kroger will present a $32,000 check to the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee at the one-year anniversary celebration of store #684, to be held Thursday, June 27.

All monies being donated were raised as part of the grocer’s “Bringing Hope to the Table” initiative. The two-week campaign gave Kroger shoppers and associates the opportunity to provide cash and food donations to Feeding America – the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization – by purchasing select items in stores.
