Nothing has changed but the name at one of North Knoxville’s most popular salons.

Owner  Erin Goode says that the salon at 3501 Tazewell Pike, formerly known as Salon Mira Mira, is now the Symmetry Salon.

“We still have the same wonderful staff and are a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon. We offer all the Paul Mitchell products and color lines,” Goode said.

“We’re the only Paul Mitchell Focus Salon in the area. Our staff has Paul Mitchell classes every six weeks to stay up on fashion trends and techniques,” she said.

Goode started the salon eight years and she is a mom, a nurse, and a stylist. She said she was a cosmetologist first and worked as a stylist while attending nursing school and until her second child was born. She is assisted at Symmetry Salon by her mother, Terri Rose, who helps manage, and by her sister, Ashley Raby, who is the accountant.

The salon features a boutique and has opened a spa upstairs offering massage therapy and facials, waxing, body wraps, and spray tans. The salon also has an ethnic hair specialist, Sherry Walker.

Other specialists at the Symmetry Salon include cosmetologists Melody Loposser, Sherry Walker, Jessica Hogle, Melinda Hill, Amanda Wyrick, Nicole Plunk, Kimberly Roberts and Lillian Mora. Estheticians include Bailee Milsap and Kristin Keith. The Message therapists are Angelita Dunaway and Chastity Stalcup and the front desk coordinator is Natali Peters.

“I really appreciate our loyal customers and the staff that stayed during the name change,” she said, adding that most of the clients are North Knoxville residents but that several also drive in from West Knoxville.

The Symmetry Salon is open each Tuesday through Friday from 10 until 7 and on Saturdays 9 until 2. You can call (865) 688-5152 for an appointment.
