A Soldier’s Journey Home (ASJH) is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 that helps severely injured Members of the Armed Forces build specially adapted homes in the United States.  This organization will be building Cody’s new home May 14 – 21, 2016 in Speedwell, TN.

Lance Corporal Cody Evans, United States Marine Corps, was injured in Afghanistan on December 15, 2011 by an IED explosion, leaving him a double amputee. He was a reservist with the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion, Delta Co, from Knoxville, TN, now medically retired.

“Not only do we give hope for a positive future, but we give our severely Disabled Veterans the ability to own their homes, mortgage free, along with the help of the community”, says ASJH President Mike Fitzpatrick.  Community involvement is key to the success of the upcoming home build for Cody Evans.
