What: Winter Markets

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 28, 2017) – The New Harvest Farmers Market will host five winter markets from December through March.
The events are set for Feb. 8 and March 22.
The markets, which run from 3 to 6 p.m. and are open to the public, will be held inside the park’s community center at 4775 New Harvest Lane.
Farmers will have an assortment of fresh, seasonal produce to choose from as well as meats, eggs and honey. There will also be baked goods, crafts and bath products.
Opening day for the 2018 season is scheduled for April 12.

The farmers market participates in the Fre$h Savings program, which works in conjunction with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP. Under it, participants who spend up to $20 per transaction at the market will get a matching amount in tokens to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at the market.
