World-class live bluegrass music and authentic mountain soul collide at the 19th Annual Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival in Kodak, TN at Dumplin Valley Farm & RV Park – September 13-15, 2018.

 

This year’s family-friendly event showcases 15 American bluegrass bands, singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists stacked with decades of entertainment experience including: Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Lonesome River Band, The Malpass Brothers, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Brad Hudson, Donna Ulisse, Paul Williams & the Victory Trio, Jimbo Whaley & Greenbrier, Billy Droze & Kentucky Blue, Big Country Bluegrass, Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time, Sideline, ClayBank, Deeper Shade of Blue and Po’ Ramblin’ Boys.

 

Emcee Freddy Smith of WDVX Radio’s “Rise & Shine Show” will guide bluegrass lovers throughout this 3-day music celebration with his entertaining broadcast style, love of bluegrass and live entertainment. Festival attendees will enjoy daily performances from 12pm-11pm (supper break 5-6pm daily), free parking, kids 12 & under free with ticketed adult, covered concert venue (the show goes on rain or shine), food trucks, merchandise vendors, comforts of a down-home farm setting and Southern hospitality by host Dumplin Valley Farm.

 

For almost 20 years, the Dumplin Valley Bluegrass Festival has been honoring our mountain roots, history and heritage while entertaining bluegrass fans from across the country.  Founders and promoters Joe and Mitzi Soward originally setout to display the heart of bluegrass music through the rich sounds of the most talented bluegrass, gospel and country artists they could attract… and this year’s festival will be no exception of their original philosophy! With growth each year along the journey, the event now features some of the biggest and best names in the genre.
