Saturday, October 20, 2018, 10 am,  Marble Springs State Historic Site.  The weather is changing…and so are the leaves.  Join us as we stroll along our beautiful trails and discuss how trees and other plants are preparing for winter.  The tour departs from the flag pole in the parking lot at 10 a.m.   This event is free to the public.  Dress warmly.

Marble Springs State Historic site is the farm and last remaining home of John Sevier, Revolutionary War hero at the Battle of Kings Mountain and first governor of Tennessee.  The site is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00pm and on Sundays from 12:00-5:00pm.  Guided tours of the cabins are available for a fee.
