It’s time to register for Keep Knoxville Beautiful’s 2nd annual South Knoxville Cleanup!
The community-wide South Knoxville Cleanup will be held on Saturday, March 17th from 9 a.m.–12 p.m., followed by lunch. The event will kick off at Sam Duff Memorial Park. (Duff Park is located at 4060 Chapman Highway, which you can access via the driveway to the left of the Krystal Burger. There is also additional street parking on Hedgeapple Lane.)

Participating community leaders will meet at the kickoff event, pick up supplies, and then disperse into their own neighborhoods to pick up litter. Individuals who are not with groups can join the effort to clean the streets surrounding Duff Field. Snacks and beverages will be available, as will the use of litter-pickers, gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests–for no cost to the participants.

We will reconvene at Sam Duff park from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. for a lunch. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and comfortable, closed toed shoes.

Please contact sarah@keepknoxvillebeautiful.org or (865) 521-6957 with any questions you may have.
Participants of any age are welcome. We look forward to seeing those who live, work, worship, or play in South Knox–as well as anyone who just wants to lend a helping hand. Thank you for pitching in!
