The Anderson County Chamber of Commerce will co-host the East Tennessee Business Growth Conference on Thursday, January 19, 2017, 8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. at the Hollingsworth Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership located at 2135 N. Charles G. Seivers Boulevard in Clinton.

 

The purpose of the conference is to inform small business owners on how to do business with the government. The conference is free.  Please register by Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at: www.tnptac.org.

 

Highlights of the conference include:  How to do Business with TVA and TVA Prime Contractors and Oak Ridge Department of Energy DOE/NNSA Prime Contractors. Corp of Engineers and Other Agency/Prime Contractor Updates, One-on-one Matchmaking Appointments, Breakout Sessions for Tennessee Minority Supplier Development Council, Woman-Owned Business Certifications, Woman Business Executive Council, SBA 8a HubZone Certifications, State of Tennessee Office of Diversity, Proposal Writing Tips and Tricks and SBA Loan Guarantee Program Overview.

 

Those who should attend, but not limited to, include:  Service-Disabled Veterans’ Companies, HubZone Certified Firms, 8A Businesses, Woman-Owned Businesses, Technology Firms, and Businesses interested in doing business with the Government.

 

Partnering with the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce is the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Top Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Small Business Development Center, Tennessee Valley Authority, Tennessee Veterans Business Association and the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services.
