There was a sighting on Fort Loudon Lake. No, not Nessie,  but a campaign sign. Clayton Woods, who is running against incumbent John Schoonmaker for the Commission 5th District seat, may have gone adrift of sign regulations. We’ll see what TWRA decides.

A nextdoor.com post reads:

Campaign Sign on the Lake

Driving on Northshore today I noticed a campaign sign on a large raft floating in the lake. Who does this kind of campaigning? I won’t say your name and I’m d##n sure not going to vote for you no matter what party you’re from. I don’t care if you’re the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan and Franklin Roosevelt put together, I find the placement on a scenic waterway to be vulgar and classless.
