Jon Dickl, KCS Executive Director of Nutrition

Knox County School officials confirmed that the KCS Executive Director of Nutrition is being investigated for possible misuse of funds.

Bob Thomas, the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services, said, “We are aware of an allegation of misuse of funds involving our Executive Director of School Nutrition, Jon Dickl.  We have opened an investigation and reported this information to the Tennessee Office of the Comptroller.

Mike Donila at WBIR adds that School spokesperson Melissa Ogden said Dickl was placed on administrative leave with pay Thursday.  Hired in 2010, Dickl’s annual salary is $100,800.
