Mayor Rogero  standing on top of a restored, privately-owned military Jeep, speaks with members of Legacy Parks.

Mayor Rogero was wearing her seat belt.

Mayor Rogero, in an effort to lead by example, braved steep terrain today in order to get a first-hand view of the newly donated 100 acres of property given by the Woods family to Legacy Parks. While on top of the hill a member of Legacy Parks suggested that Mayor Rogero should promote hiking a different trail each month in the city. The plan which Mayor Rogero appears to be seriously considering, would have the Mayor go out once a month on a hiking trip and she would promote the hike.  While this idea was mentioned on the fly, the Mayor was very passionate about looking into the situation. She stated that the idea would work great with her current “Let’s Move!” campaign.
