South Knox County Commissioner Mike Brown has requested that the county’s law department draft a resolution on behalf of Knox County Commission that mirrors Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett’s request for tax relief from Nashville for businesses in South Knoxville. He has requested that it be discussed at next Monday’s commission meeting. No word yet on whether elected officials from the city will follow suit.
