Upcoming Civil War Talk
On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, the Knoxville Civil War Roundtable will host local Civil War historian and national speaker Dot Kelly as its speaker. At 8:00 p.m. Ms. Kelly will speak on the topic: “The Yankees Pay a Visit to Knoxville; Sanders’ 1863 Raid into East Tennessee.” The talk is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will be at the Bearden Banquet Hall at 5806 Kingston Pike (next to Buddy’s BBQ and .2 mile east of the intersection of Kingston Pike and Northshore Dr.) To attend the talk only is $5.00. (Students with current IDs are admitted free.) Alternatively, you can come at 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner which is $15.00 for members and $17.00 for non-members (including talk).
