A leaf print art workshop will be held at the UT Arboretum on Saturday, August 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please bring a sack lunch. The program will be held at the UT Arboretum Sharp Program Shelter, 901 S. Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge. The event will take place rain or shine.

The cost is $30 for members of the UT Arboretum Society and $35 for non-members.
An adult may work together with a child to make two leaf prints at a discounted price of $50 for members and $55 for non-members. The children will make a smaller version of the leaf print.

Arboretum Society board members Kathy Fahey and Lynda Haynes will work with participants to create large leaf prints to be used as birdbaths, coffee table art and more. All project materials except paint will be provided. Time will not permit painting the leaf prints, but instruction will be given about the type of paint needed to finish the project at home.

The popular class is expected to fill up quickly, as it has in the past and payment must be made in advance. To register, email Kathy Fahey at  kvfahey@comcast.net or 865-898-2646.
