The taxpayers can now see the 21 legal contracts that must be signed by Knox County government and the Knox County School Board that are required to move the Central Office of the school system to the east TVA Tower. The School Board has had two days to read the 208 pages of these contracts and they meet at 5:00 pm this Wednesday afternoon for the School Board workshop to discuss the contracts. One of many concerns is the Operating Agreement contract which does not specify how much Knox County taxpayers will pay to TVA to provide the services now performed by the Public Building Authority at the Andrew Johnson building where the current Central Office of the school system has its offices.
