He is all things KIDS!  Jeff Stevens is the Pastor to Children and Families at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Last year, the Knoxville native celebrated his ten-year anniversary in this position at the church.  Interestingly enough, Jeff attended Wallace when he was a youth.  Now, he is leading the children at Wallace in their walk with Christ.

Jeff seems to have as much energy as the kids.  He leads the kids lodge worship on Sunday mornings and then makes his way to the sanctuary to serve as one of the counselors at the close of morning worship.  His umbrella of activities includes Upward basketball, Vacation Bible School, and  Wallace’s weekday children’s ministry.  Jeff, his wife Laura, and their three children–Addie, Hudson, and Micah–have contributed so much at Wallace Memorial.  While this pastor approaches his calling with boundless energy, he humbly acknowledges his limits.  “None of it would be possible without the team of people that make it happen each week,” Jeff said.

John Green, the lead pastor at Wallace, shares his thoughts about the children’s pastor.  “Everyone at Wallace loves Pastor Jeff—but his biggest fans are the children.  They love to hear him teach and to be around him.  He brings excitement and joy to learning about Jesus that impacts our children in great ways.   We are blessed to have Pastor Jeff on our ministry team.”
