Emily Ann Roberts signs Camille Clark’s autograph at the CTE Goes Live kick off held last Wednesday at Toyota Knoxville. Roberts won last year’s event and went on to place second in the television show The Voice. CTE Goes Live will be held on May 6 at Market Square, giving contestants from fifteen Knox County high schools the chance to compete vocally.
Also, this event allows the Career and Technical Education classes to participate in a “Real Life” experience. Students will design and produce all flyers and posters, provide all photography and video, assist with cameras and production, work the dressing room to “Fluff and Buff” the contestants, stage setup and teardown, lighting and sound, social media, shadow the KPD officers on Market Square, and live radio and live website.
The event will be broadcast live on MyVLT. Host – Jack Ryan – Merle FM, Host Tracey LaBelle-Speeks, Co – Host Mark Packer
