Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union and the Blount County Public Library are pleased to announce a new partnership.
Alcoa Tenn is expanding their ATM network to include a new location inside the Bookmark Café, on the main level of the library 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville.
More than 10,000 people visit the library each week. Now, in addition to checking out books and videos, accessing the internet, and attending programs, library patrons can also take advantage of the Alcoa Tenn ATM to do their banking.
K.C. Williams, Library Director, says, “We’re extremely excited to off this service to the community and appreciate this partnership with Alcoa Tenn.”
This year, Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union is celebrating 80 years of serving the Blount County Community. Originally chartered on June 12, 1936, Alcoa Tenn began as “Plate Mill Employees Credit Union,” located in a corner of the Alcoa, Inc. West Plant. By 1959, the newly named Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union served all three Alcoa Inc. plants in Blount County. Today, anyone who lives, works or worships in Blount, Loudon, or Monroe counties may take advantage of Alcoa Tenn’s financial services.
Open to the public, this program is hosted by the Blount County Public Library, located at 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville, where services are an example of your tax dollars at work for you.
