Knox County to Host Basketball Tournament for Adults and Youth

End your summer right with the county’s first-ever outdoor basketball tournament this weekend!

Knox County Parks and Recreation Department will host the event Friday, Aug. 25 through Sunday, Aug. 27 at John Tarleton Park.

The event will feature youth and adult divisions. Kids aged 10 and under will compete in five-on-five games, and adult divisions will play three-on-three. Prize packs will be awarded to the winning teams.

Local food and merchandise vendors will be on-site, providing food, drinks, and swag.

Additionally, the event includes a skills clinic focused on teaching development to new wheelchair basketball players.
