Scruffy City Orchestra’s Fall Concert Celebrates Concerto Competition Winners
This fall’s concert has Something Old, Something New for everyone. As a special treat, the program features the 2023 Concerto Competition winners, Chris Keum and Elizabeth Burch.
Part of Sacred Heart’s Cathedral Concert Series under the baton of Dr. Ace Edewards, Scruffy City Orchestra’s fall concert includes:
- Ohne Sorgen, Josef Strauss
- A Fugal Overture, Op. 40 No.1, Gustav Holst
- Introduction et rondo capriccioso, Op. 28, Camille Saint-Saëns
featuring soloist Chris Keum, Youth Concerto Competition winner - Violin Concerto, Op. 35, Pyotr Tchaikovsky
featuring soloist Elizabeth Burch, Adult Concerto Competition winner - Symphony No. 9, Op. 95, Antonín Dvořák
