Criminal

If you doubt the existence of evil, then consider hatred as evidence of that malevolent force. Jim Ferguson

By Dr. Jim Ferguson

The October surprise that we’ve come to expect every presidential election season occurred September 27, 2024. Biden/Harris’ Deputy Director of ICE released data that they have allowed 425,000 immigrants with criminal convictions into our country. “Got aways,” who continue to stream across our nonexistent border, are not part of this data. But included in the data are 13,000 convicted murderers and 16,000 sex offenders and rapists. This averages four murderers and five sex offenders in every county across America. This is criminal.

And yet the media and Democrat toadies like Jessica Tarlov blame President Trump instead of the border czar and “the man of [dementia]” who continue to fly aliens into the country without proper vetting or vaccination. These asylum seekers are to attend court hearings in some distant future, but undoubtedly they will disappear with the more than 11 million other illegals from 80 different countries who have invaded America, aided and abetted by Comrade Kamala.

In a rational world, the woman who no one voted for would not be the Democrat candidate for president. But half the country has left reality and is driven by a pathological hatred of President Trump. The vitriol, vilification and dehumanization of Trump by the media and Democrats have driven this delusional hatred and fomented mob mentality. The media has manipulated Americans with criminal intent.

Last week people from across the country reached out to me in the wake of Hurricane Helene. I assured them we are fine, but our southeastern neighbors, especially those in western North Carolina, are suffering. A hundred years ago, the Tennessee River would often flood, but not since the Tennessee Valley dam system was created. I consider it criminal that Kamala was away fundraising in California and Biden was “on the phone” somewhere, perhaps the beach. President Trump offered real leadership with a presence in Georgia. Reportedly, he worked with Elon Musk to get Starlink to communities without internet and phone contact.

As I begin this essay, crises are everywhere. Iran fired approximately 180 ballistic missiles at Israel in yet another escalation of the Middle East war. It was just a few years ago that Biden’s national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, proclaimed that “the Middle East is quieter than in a decade.” There are consequences for removing sanctions on Iran and allowing billions to flow into coffers of the Mullahs. Money also enables them to achieve nuclear status which they say will be used to destroy Israel. Biden is so weak that no one is deterred; not Iran or their proxies, not Putin in Ukraine, nor China with Taiwan.

There is a political concept known as the “madman theory” of leadership. The thought is that a “mad” leader is a deterrence to enemies. Biden is cognitively impaired, but would not be classified as a madman because he is predictable. On the contrary, President Trump was a deterrent to bad actors who might not be able to predict what he would do. Trump certainly had the Mullahs contained, Putin was kept in Russia, little rocket man was quiet on the Korean peninsula and China was not threatening Taiwan.

It is a tragedy that Dr. Jill put her husband out there to then be cast aside by the Democrat Party machine. It’s even worse for America that Biden was elected and then surrounded himself with fools who are no help in a crisis.

Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, gleefully participated in the border invasion. He was asked about the Hurricane Helene tragedy in the Southeastern U.S. and showed his inhumanity by pivoting to climate change rhetoric.

And the secretary of the Commerce Department (Raimondo) said she’s “not very focused on the strike” of dockworkers which began October 1. This strike will cause huge inflationary pressures on an already stressed and damaged economy. Criminal … but I repeat myself.

It’s Tuesday as I write the first draft of this column. The vice president debate is tonight, but I won’t be watching. First, political debates are anything but debates, especially with Democrat moderators. Debates are media-engineered Kabuki Theatre and useful only for gotchas and sound bites.

Second, we are voting for Comrade Kamala or President Trump, not the mincing China Tim or JD Vance. I read JD’s book and have listened to his multiple interviews. I watched Walz let Minneapolis burn. Case closed.

And last, our Atlanta Braves made the playoffs Monday night and played the Padres during the debate. Baseball is a contest without a pseudo-journalist’s finger on the scale of fairness.

I am critical of what the Democrat party has become. Most who now march under that ensign are not John F. Kennedy Democrats, but progressive socialists. You may have heard the term Yellow Dog Democrat which originated in the late 1800s and described Southern voters who would “vote for a yellow dog before they would vote for a Republican.”

Another historical term is Blue Dog Democrats. A coalition of fiscally and socially conservative Democrats banded together as a Congressional caucus of 54 members in 1995. The group now has only 10 members. This is illustrative of what the Democrat Party has become.

I am also critical of the GOP, the Grand Old Party which may be old, but it is no longer the party of Lincoln and Reagan, nor is it grand. The “old” guards have lost their way and are being replaced.

Years ago, Becky and I attended a Braves baseball game against the Cubs while we were in Chicago. It was such a great experience I bought a Cubs baseball hat. Now when I wear the hat people ask me if I’m a Cubs fan. I say no and explain that the “C” on the cap stands for conservative. I am a conservative who supports traditional Republican policies which are totally absent in the modern Democrat party. The new wing of the GOP is actually conservative, inclusive, pragmatic, populist and patriotic. This new party of Donald Trump will Make America Great Again.

I have become a Trumpster and I am glad to have JD Vance in America’s future. I challenge you to renounce hatred and logically join us for a better future and for your children’s sake.
