ReVIDA Recovery Centers Offers Free Treatment to Uninsured and Under-Insured Patients

Grant Funds Now Cover Cost of Treatment for Eligible Tennesseans

Knoxville, Tenn. – ReVIDA Recovery Centers is expanding its life-saving treatment services to all Tennesseans, regardless of their financial or insurance status, thanks to a grant from the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council. This funding ensures that Tennesseans struggling with opioid use disorder can now access the care they need at any ReVIDA center, without the barrier of insurance or employment concerns.

ReVIDA’s “Treatment for All” program provides comprehensive treatment services to eligible Tennesseans, without cost to them. This initiative is critical in removing barriers to care and creating pathways to recovery for thousands of Tennesseans who otherwise might not have access to treatment.

“For too many uninsured and lower income Tennesseans, the cost of treatment puts treatment out of reach.  We are changing that,” said ReVIDA Recovery Centers CEO Lee Dilworth. “With the support of the Opioid Abatement Council and the leadership of Commissioner Marie Williams, we can now reach even more people, especially the uninsured and under-insured, who have been unable to access the care they desperately need. The Opioid Abatement Council’s commitment to prioritizing care for all Tennesseans has been truly visionary.”

To be eligible for this program, patients must live in Tennessee and have household income under 300% of federal poverty guidelines or show other financial hardship.  Eligible patients may be uninsured or insured.  For insured patients, the program covers copays and deductibles that the patient cannot afford.

ReVIDA Recovery Centers is committed to addressing this need by offering comprehensive treatment services, including:

  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): Evidence-based medical treatment to help manage the physical aspects of opioid dependency.
  • Counseling and Therapy Services: Individual, group, and family counseling tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Certified Peer Support: Connection with individuals who are in recovery and can offer personal support and guidance based on their lived experience.
  • Recovery Support Services: connections to community resources to enhance each patient’s recovery journey.

“Compassionate care is at the heart of ReVIDA’s mission, and these funds allow us to fulfill that mission by ensuring all Tennesseans, regardless of their financial situation, get the help they need,” said Dilworth.

To access treatment, individuals can walk into any ReVIDA Recovery Center clinic or call (865) 412-8090 to speak with an admissions specialist. Those seeking care are encouraged to bring identification, a list of prescribed medication, and, if applicable, their insurance card.
