Laws In America Should Be Applied Equally For All

As President-elect Donald Trump continues to make announcements about appointments to his Cabinet and other posts in his administration, it is abundantly clear things are different from his first term. Trump is acting decisively and with dispatch and is well ahead of where he was at this time in 2016. Yet the choices Trump made in staffing his second administration are reflective of his understanding of the message from the election returns. The American people wanted change, not business as usual in Washington, D.C. Trump also has set out to deliberately decimate the “fourth branch” of the government; the unelected bureaucracy which permeates too many of the federal government’s bureaus and agencies. Donald Trump is the living symbol that for too many Americans the system does not work. That fourth and unelected branch of the government is what many refer to as “the deep state.”
CNN worries if Trump is successful in rooting out the deep state, it will mean “an army of suck ups.” Presently, it means an army of ultra-partisan leftist ideologues/activists who look down on other Americans who do not share their own political beliefs. The latest scandal involves FEMA instructing workers to avoid providing relief to those who displayed Trump banners or yard signs. Hard-working Americans are being denied disaster relief while illegal aliens are occupying rooms at hotels with free phones and food, all at the expense of the American taxpayer.
We’ve seen it time and again through the open lawfare conducted by Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice. Most every fantasy the left has conjured about Trump’s return to the White House about persecuting and prosecuting his enemies has been true of the DOJ during the Biden administration and they loved it when it was used against parents, churches and Republicans. The left has no love for the law; in fact, they blatantly ignore, abuse and disdain any law they didn’t write to rule over the rest of us. To acknowledge that it is a crime for a foreigner to cross our border is enough to get one canceled by the left in this country. The fact is, there is no such thing as an “undocumented” person; there are ten to twenty million illegal aliens who have been allowed to cross our borders illegally, committing a crime under our own laws, openly aided by a presidential administration, which lied to our faces along with the corporate media. It is also true that Soros-funded district attorneys have imposed their own warped and twisted view of the law by reimagining it so that the innocent victims are deemed “oppressors” and the criminals are reimagined as victims irrespective of what horrendous crime they commit. District attorneys have openly defied state and federal laws and refused to charge criminals for having broken those same laws. Chain stores and small businesses have closed their doors where looters and shoplifters were protected by the people who were supposed to prosecute them. With the open border came enough fentanyl to kill every American man, woman and child many times over. More than 100,000 children who crossed the border seemed to have disappeared and the Biden administration has no idea where they are or who has them.
The same people who squalled constantly that our democracy was in danger were the very same people holding a knife to the throat of that democracy. They bent, twisted, and hacked through any law or statute to try and remove Donald Trump from the ballot until stopped by the courts. For them, the ends always justify the means.
The attitude of the leftists and the law can be summarized by the statement of Diane Ellis-Marseglia, an election commissioner in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Despite the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court issuing an order defining exactly what ballots were not to be counted, Ellis-Marseglia said, “People violate laws anytime they want. So, for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.” That comment was made after the state Supreme Court had made its ruling.
Ellis-Marseglia has apologized since that time and said her comments were taken out of context. No, they weren’t. We understood you the first time, Diane. You said exactly what you meant. For too many leftists, law exists only for them to use as they see fit.
Governor Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, made a statement of his own. “Any insinuation that our laws can be ignored or do not matter is irresponsible and does damage to faith in our electoral process. It is critical for counties and officials in both parties to respect it with both their rhetoric and their actions.”
Exactly. It was the Biden Department of Justice that sued the State of Virginia to keep illegal aliens, who do NOT have any of the rights of American citizens, to vote in elections.
Shapiro is right, if albeit late in addressing it. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court had to issue yet another statement enforcing its initial ruling that undated ballots are not legal and cannot be counted, as per state law.
The first and loudest election denier was Hillary Clinton, who continues to deny her loss in 2016 to this day. But to hear the left and their subsidiaries in the mainstream media tell it, only Donald Trump and Republicans can be election deniers after numerous instances where election commissions and secretaries of state changed the rules of the game in the middle of an election and without the sanction of the state legislatures who actually write the laws. That did not happen in 2016 and Hillary Clinton and her team leaked information that was untrue and malicious to the FBI about Donald Trump, which started the entire Russia hoax. That, too, should have been a criminal offense, yet President Trump never tried to have her prosecuted. The FISA court was approached and provided with bogus information.
Now it has come down to the moron-in-chief of “The View” saying it is fine for families to shun those members during the holidays who did not vote as they did in the election. Yet they often talk about “unity.” What they mean is submission to their own beliefs and views.
Daniel Penny is being tried in New York for having saved numerous other passengers on the infamously unsafe subways from a lunatic assailant who was threatening to kill other passengers. Several of the passengers have testified they were fearful of the crazed Jordan Neely, who was a schizophrenic drug abuser with a long criminal history. Penny, a former Marine, used a chokehold to subdue Neely, who died. Alvin Bragg, the notoriously incompetent and woke DA, brought charges against Penny. The prosecutor’s office seemed to infer the reason being Penny is white and Neely was black.
Justice in America should be color-blind and the law should be followed. The law should be applied equally for all and with partiality for none.
