KNOXVILLE – Nourish Knoxville is thrilled to announce the return of the Winter Farmers Market for its 12th season, beginning December 7, 2024, with over 80 local food, farm, and craft vendors—just in time for the holiday shopping season! Shoppers can explore an incredible selection of locally grown produce, flowers, meat, honey, herbs, plants, pastries, baked goods, coffee, handmade pastas, and artisan-crafted items, including jewelry, pottery, photography, woodworking, original art, bath and body products, fiber crafts, and more. Shoppers can also enjoy warm beverages and brunch bites from a rotating selection of local vendors while soaking up the festive holiday spirit in downtown Knoxville.
“Nourish Knoxville’s Winter Farmers Market is East Tennessee’s premier outdoor holiday shopping destination,” says Mizuki Hanford, Markets Manager for Nourish Knoxville. “Beyond the incredible variety of local goods, it’s also a place to gather and savor the holiday season with loved ones. Whether you’re seeking unique gifts, fresh produce, or simply a festive outing, the Winter Farmers Market has something for everyone.”
The 2024 – 2025 Winter Farmers Market will operate *every Saturday, December 7, 2024 – March 29, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Nourish Kids, a free children’s program, will be held on the **second Saturday of each month, offering engaging activities for kids ages 2 – 12 and distributing $5 in Produce Bucks for fresh fruits and vegetables. The market will also continue to accept SNAP benefits and offer Double Up Food Bucks every Saturday.
* No markets on December 28, 2024, or January 4 & 11, 2025.
** January’s children’s activity will take place on the third Saturday of the month (January 18, 2025)
