The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign Needs Your Help to Finish Strong
Knoxville, TN – With just over a week remaining until the end of this year’s Red Kettle Campaign, The Salvation Army of Knoxville is urgently asking the community for help to reach its fundraising goal of $225,000. To date, 72.5% of the goal has been raised with only one week left of bell ringing.
“The Red Kettle Campaign is a lifeline for our community,” said Major Cameron Henderson, Area Commander of The Salvation Army Knoxville Area Command. “With persistent high prices for food, rent, and gasoline, more families than ever are facing impossible choices. Your generosity ensures we can provide shelter, food, rent and utility assistance, and Christmas support to those in crisis—not only during the holidays but throughout the year.”
The Red Kettle Campaign is a cornerstone of The Salvation Army’s fundraising. All donations stay local, and 83 cents of every dollar go directly toward serving individuals and families in need.
“The people of Knoxville have always been incredibly generous,” Major Henderson added. “We are so grateful for the support we’ve received so far, but we must ask for one final push to finish strong. Together, we can ensure that no family goes without during this special season.”
