Baptist Eye Surgeons is pleased to announce an exciting new development within the team: the addition of Dr. Heidi Dahl, who officially joined in October 2024. Dr. Dahl is committed to advancing eye health and her passion for patient-centered care aligns perfectly with the mission at Baptist Eye Surgeons, which is to “preserve or restore the gift of sight.” The former professional athlete in track and field understands the importance of eye care and says she chose to pursue a career in ophthalmic surgery to “enhance the quality of life for her patients.” Dr. Dahl completed her medical studies at ETSU and her residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
What is a simple eye-care tip?
“Always wear safety glasses,” Dr. Dahl shared. This simple precaution helps protect your eyes from potential hazards and injuries from any activity where debris may be present.
The Utah native will work alongside Drs. Andrew Anzeljc, Marc Bodenheimer, Adam Carrera, Janis Holt, J. Franklin Murchison, Austin Nave, Paul Pruett, Darin Smith, Erik Sweet and Sherry Tilley, OD.
