Tennessee Department of Veterans Services to Host Veteran Ready Business Recognition Summit

The Tennessee Department of Veterans Services (TDVS) will host the Veteran Ready Business Recognition (VRBR) Summit on Wednesday, May 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST at Redemption Church, 3550 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Knoxville, TN.

This free event is open to all businesses—not just Veteran-owned organizations—interested in learning how to recruit, hire, and retain Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF). Attendees will gain valuable insights and actionable strategies to build a Veteran-Ready workplace and strengthen their workforce.

Opening remarks will be delivered by TDVS Commissioner Tommy Baker (Major General, Retired) and Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. Featured speakers include:
