The Knox County Schools is seeking public input on naming the new elementary school opening in southwest Knox County in August of 2013. The school is located on Thunderhead Road in the Northshore Town Center.
In December, the Knox County Board of Education approved an enrollment zone for the new school and amended enrollment zones for six other elementary schools in Knox County.
Suggestions for a name, along with an explanation and rationale behind the name, may be sent to nametheschool@knoxschools.org. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 22, 2013.
