If you mention the movie “October Sky” in or around Knoxville, chances are you’ll hear someone say they have friends, relatives or neighbors who appeared in the film. Thanks to the Knox County Public Library, the community has a chance to check out the movie on the big screen once again, this time outside as part of SouthFest on Friday, April 12. The movie will be shown at 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot adjacent to the Knox County Public Library’s South Knoxville Branch, which is located at 4500 Chapman Highway. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 7:30 p.m.
