East Tennessee Children’s Hospital will be giving away free bicycle helmets on Saturday, December 14 from noon until 2 p.m. at Kohl’s, 220 Morrell Road, Knoxville. Children will also be given safety information and participants will be taught how to properly fit a bike helmet.

Kohl’s associates will present Children’s Hospital a check for $76,752 prior to the Kohl’s Bike Helmet Safety Program. The Kohl’s gift supports Children’s Hospital’s Injury Prevention Program outreach initiatives. Since our partnership began in 2000, Kohl’s has donated more than $1.1 million to Children’s Hospital through Kohl’s Cares.
