Knoxville Film Festival and Regal Entertainment Group will present a free private screening of the local film Bandit and the Saints of Dogwood on Sunday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at Regal Downtown West Cinema 8.

Filmed in East Tennessee during June of 2013 and co-produced by Knoxville-based Will Rock Entertainment, Bandit and the Saints of Dogwood focuses on fifth-grader Lena, her best friends and her furry pal Bandit. After a plan to prank their principal on the last day of school goes wrong, the students are punished and sent away to an educational facility. Bandit recruits a few of his own four legged pals to help the kids escape and lead them home. The action-packed family film is approximately 85 minutes long.

The private screening will be presented in partnership with Visit Knoxville Film Office and hosted for the movie’s director and East Tennessean Brooks Benjamin as well as producers Curt Willis and Rock Hurts. The local cast and crew of the family-friendly movie will also be in attendance. The screening will be free of charge, but seating will be limited.
