If you are a veteran or the spouse of a veteran, you may want to attend the Veterans Outreach planned for Wednesday, November 5 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Federal, state, local and non-profit organizations will be gathering to assist veterans and their families at the Tennessee National Guard Armory at 3330 Sutherland Avenue that day.

Sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs, the event is to provide information about eligibility benefits and information on contacting various resources. The event will feature things like claims assistance, jobs, business resources, mental health resources, and education.

Veterans and their families from Anderson, Blount, Knox, Loudon and Roane Counties are invited to attend.
