The Knox County Community Development (KCCD) is proposing a substantial amendment to its U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved FY2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and FY 2020 Annual Action Plan. This amendment proposes to allocate $464,914.00 in CDBG-CV funds to the following organizations in order to respond to the Coronavirus: Knoxville Area Project Access (KAPA), McNabb Center, and Senior Citizen Home Assistance Service, Inc. (SCHAS). These funds will assist low- to moderate-income residents of Knox County. The public comment period is October 18 – October 22, 2021.
Knox County residents are encouraged to share their verbal or written comments about the County’s Substantial Amendment at the virtual ZOOM meeting on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 10:00am.
