This Saturday, April 17, Keep Knoxville Beautiful will be hosting its 5th annual South Knoxville Community Cleanup from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Cleanups will take place throughout South Knoxville.
Leaders from various South Knoxville neighborhoods, businesses, and local community organizations will collect cleanup supplies at Sam Duff Park then return to volunteers waiting at their designated locations to pick up litter.
Multiple groups including KKB volunteers from throughout Knoxville will be participating in a cleanup of Goose Creek at the Mary Vestal Park, 522 Maryville Pike, starting at 9 a.m. Volunteers will clean the park as well as get in the creek.
In total there are almost 320 volunteers that will be picking up litter in South Knoxville this Saturday.
