8/28 Pondering, Painting, & Planting Peace Poles with Claudia Fulshaw: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Join us for an end of summer mix of art, spirit, nature & rest as we spend a day creating peace poles for our yard, garden or community. Students will be creating their own Peace Poles in an array of colors with a message, thoughts, quotes, prayers, poetry, etc., all with the intention of spreading a little more peace, love and light in this world. Claudia Fulshaw lives in Durham, NC, is a graphic designer, artist, long- time wanderer and leader of retreats that combine Art, Spirit, Nature & Rest. She is passionate about designing retreats that connect people in unique ways to their spirit while creating art. Her infectious “art spirit” fuels her desire to share how there is freedom in spontaneity and joy in discovery while immersed in art-making – reminding us of how the arts offer insights into our personal and spiritual lives. 8/30 Painting Sunflowers with Melanie Fetterolf: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
All skill levels are invited to come paint sunflowers with us! Melanie will guide students to create an acrylic on canvas painting using a variety of brushes and painting techniques. All supplies are included.

Thursdays starting 9/3 Fused Glass Workshop with Carolyn Fogelman: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
In this 4-part workshop students will learn about glass, how to stack glass, how to make advanced shapes and elements along with learning about the process of firing the glass in the kiln. At the completion of the workshop, students will have 6 – 15 pieces ready to wear or give as gifts! Students need to bring safety glasses with side shields or goggles to wear while cutting glass.  Member Rate: $125 | Non-Member Rate: $135 | Materials Fee (paid to instructor): $75 Registration deadline: September 1
