On Friday, March 8, Atria Weston Place will feature creations from residents and local guest artist, Jill Stone during its inaugural art show. The show will include oil on canvas and various pieces of art created by Atria Weston Place residents and guest artist.

“This display is just one way we help our residents pursue their hobbies and discover new ones, when they move to Atria, and it’s a great opportunity for us to encourage future generations to explore artistic expression as well,” said Bonnie Parton, Engage Life® Director at Atria Weston Place. “We are honored to provide an opportunity for local artists of all ages to share their creativity.”

Residents enjoy regularly scheduled art classes as part of the senior living community’s diverse events calendar. Atria’s signature Engage Life program provides residents with a variety of life-enriching activities that are tailored to their individual interests.

The art show at Atria Weston Place will be a formal affair held on March 8, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public with wine and hors d’oeuvres while enjoying classical pianist and composer, Elyse Bruce. For more information, call (865)584-9857.
