The Parrott-Wood Memorial Library in Strawberry Plains and the Jefferson County Genealogical Society will offer a free Beginning Genealogy class in two sessions which will take place on Monday, May 13, and Tuesday, May 14 , 5 – 7 p.m.

 

Participants will explore free internet sites, learn how to organize their family information, how to use census records, and be introduced to genealogy software. The instructor will be Ann Blomquist and printed materials will be provided.

 

Each class is limited to 20 people and those persons with laptops or tablet computers are encouraged to bring them. Some computer devices will be available from the library.
