Farragut Middle School Students will have the opportunity to learn about C-SPAN’s programs and resources during a bus visit scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2013. The C-SPAN Bus will visit with several local student winners in the StudentCam 2013 documentary competition.
After completing its Campaign 2012 travels, the C-SPAN Bus is now in its 20th year on the road and has a new look and a new season of tours. It is visiting numerous cities, schools and universities across the country, promoting C-SPAN’s educational and political resources for students, teachers and community members along the way.
This spring, the Bus is stopping in cities across the U.S. to recognize winners in C-SPAN’s StudentCam 2013 documentary competition, in which middle and high school students created a 5-8 minute video on the most important issue the President should address this year. Farragut had a first prize winner and three third prize winning entries in the contest.
First Prize:
