COME NOSH AT KNOSHVILLE: A JEWISH FOOD AND CULTURE FESTIVAL

The 8th Annual Knoshville: A Jewish Food Festival returns to the Arnstein Jewish Community Center (AJCC) on Sunday, May 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This lively event brings together Jewish organizations from Knoxville and Oak Ridge to share a delicious and meaningful taste of Jewish culture with the wider community.

The festival’s name is a playful spin on the Yiddish word “nosh,” meaning to snack or nibble, and the event will offer a wide variety of traditional Jewish and Israeli foods. Visitors can sample sweet noshes like Bundt cakes, macaroons, and blintzes, as well as savory favorites including New York-style bagels and shmear, challah, and noodle kugel.

“This one-day event offers a vibrant and delicious glimpse into Jewish and Israeli culture,” said Tara Bain, Director of Community Engagement at the Knoxville Jewish Alliance. “Come for the food and stay for the experience — explore our inspiring gallery, browse the Judaic shops, and let the kids enjoy the fun at the Beachside Kid Zone.”
