When you walk with the National Kidney Foundation, you’re joining thousands of others across the nation to fund innovation in kidney disease research, advocacy, and transplantation.

There is no registration fee. However, participants are encouraged to fundraise. Your fundraising dollars provide lifesaving programs and services to the 37 million (more than 1 in 7) American adults currently living with chronic kidney disease, and the 1 in 3 adults who are at risk.

Kidney Walks are a vital source of support as we provide real-time assistance for those in need. More than 80 cents of every dollar donated goes to research, patient services, professional education, public health education, and community services.

  • Action:We ensure that 37 million Americans living with chronic kidney disease get diagnosed, treated, and supported early.
  • Education:We provide the public, patients, and healthcare professionals with tools to promote kidney health. One of my favorite patient programs is a help line that provides support for people affected by kidney disease called NFK Cares.
  • Accelerating Change:We advocate for change on Capitol Hill and support life-saving research.
