to Benefit CAC Mobile Meals Connecting Hearts Program Drive to End Hunger. . .

Grayson BMW is helping with CAC Mobile Meals Connecting Hearts Food Drive by being the drop off point for grocery donations. Let’s “fill up a car” with much needed food for home bound seniors in our community. Please help by taking your donations November 12 – 16 to their location: 10671 Parkside Dr, Knoxville, TN 37922

The Connecting Hearts program provides extra help and companionship to Mobile Meals clients who have been identified as extremely socially isolated and having limited access to food. We offer a weekly delivery of supplemental food (groceries) to at-risk seniors delivered by volunteers who visit one-on-one for an hour per week. The schedule for these visits are flexible and generally take place outside of regular Mobile Meal delivery times. This is a partnership between CAC Mobile Meals and Second Harvest Food Bank

(non-refrigerated items, individual or small sizes, pop top or pouch style)

Canned fruits / vegetables

Peanut Butter

Canned soups

Tuna or Chicken

Breakfast Bars

Vegetable or Fruit juice

Boost

Nuts / Trail Mix

Fruit cups (juice packed)

Crackers (Ritz, Saltines)
