Girl Scouts service units host weekend pop-up cookie drive-thru sales in Knoxville

Sad about Samoas®? Despondent over Do-Si-Dos®? Get giddy about Girl Scout Cookies again as select service units with Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians host a pop-up drive-thru cookie sale in Knox County.

The drive-thru sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at West Hills Elementary School located at 409 Vanosdale Rd.

This may be the season’s last sale for signature Girl Scout Cookies and provides an additional opportunity to treat your tastebuds while doing something sweet to support girls in your community.

Girl Scout cookie sales are the main fundraiser for the organization designed to cultivate courage, confidence and character to encourage future female leaders in East Tennessee and beyond. Proceeds from the cookies, which cost $6 per box, help bridge the funding gap for the Girl Scout experience, enriching program offerings, regional camps and community troops.
