Cades Concord Adult Day Enrichment Services is proud to announce the Harvest Moon Folk Fest Concert and Silent Auction October 16th to raise awareness of seniors with Alzheimer’s.
All the money from this family-friendly event helps CADES continue to fund their work as a adult day care agency, providing ‘Alzheimer’s Scholarships’ care and activities for seniors and assisting their loved ones in delaying early institutional placement so seniors can stay in their homes longer. Their facility offers visits with a therapy dog, health checks, games, arts and crafts, and other activities for seniors.
Donors, seniors, and music lovers will enjoy the musical styling of the Mt. Le Conte Jug Band performing good time Americana music on Sunday, Oct. 16th at 6:30 p.m. at Concord Methodist Church, 11020 Roane Drive in Farragut. There will be a silent auction as well.
“This is a great opportunity to give back to seniors in our community and hear a really kickin’ band,” said CADES board member Penny Bandy. “As the owner of East Tennessee Personal Care Service, I work with seniors everyday. They deserve the opportunity to age gracefully, and CADES helps them to lead a richer life.”
Tickets are $20 or $200 for a reserved table with 10 tickets. To reserve tickets, call CADES – Concord Adult Day Enrichment Services at 865.675.2835.
If you would like to sponsor this event, donate an item for the silent auction, or volunteer, please contact Celia or Deena of CADES at 865.675.2835
