Holidays on Ice, presented by Home Federal Bank, opens Friday, Nov. 24, for another festive season of open-air ice skating in Market Square.

“There’s no better way to spend ‘Black Friday’ than coming downtown to enjoy skating on our open-air ice rink, do some local shopping and enjoy the beautiful holiday decorations,” says Judith Foltz, Director of Special Events. There will be plenty of opportunities to do all of the above, as Friday marks the beginning of Christmas in the City launched by the Regal Celebration of Lights kick-off ceremony.

Sponsors of Holidays on Ice include the City of Knoxville, Home Federal Bank, Pilot Flying J, Regal Entertainment, AT&T, WBIR Channel 10, B97.5 FM, the Knoxville News Sentinel, Holston Gases, and the Knoxville Ice Bears.
