If you have been wondering what essential services are available, Knox CAC has over thirty programs to showcase.  The community is invited to join us for a Knox CAC information drive-thru event.

Persons who attend will be asked to stay in their cars and drive thru the parking lot to visit booths and learn about Knox CAC programs.

Information tables will be hosted by Knox CAC on Wednesday October 21, 2020, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ross Building parking lot located at 2247 Western Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921.  Programs featured will include utility assistance, rental assistance, Head Start early education, housing and energy weatherization, Office on Aging senior services, Empty Stocking Fund, commodities distribution, Beardsley Farm, transportation, tax preparation, and more!  Give away bags filled with information, light bulbs, masks, and other items will be available first-come, first-serve.

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to get a flu shot from their car window! Persons interested in flu shots should bring a photo ID & prescription insurance card and allow 15 minutes after the shot before leaving the event.  There will also be limited vouchers available for persons without insurance.

Please plan to wear a mask and maintain 6’ physical distance throughout the event; masks will be provided to those who may not have one.

The rain date for this event is scheduled for the following Wednesday (10/28/2020) from 11—2.
