~ from the Knox County Election Commission.

Following the events of May 1, the Knox County Election Commission (KCEC), in conjunction with the Knox County IT Department, has developed a second method of delivering election results at the end of the evening on Election Day, August 2.

After all the polling places have closed (sometime after 8 p.m.) on Election Day, the KCEC will push out absentee and early voting results to its website, as they always do. The results will be simultaneously published to www.knoxvotes.org and to Google Drive at the following address (copy and paste link): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-8Kh_Tz-zuc6MKwB0i29Bz2fNcnNkC_3

Then, as results are tabulated on a computer that is not hooked up to the internet, they will be published a few precincts at a time to both locations. This will continue throughout the evening until all results have been tabulated.

As you are aware, election results that are published on Election Night are unofficial and are provided on the internet as a constituent service.
