The Knox County Election Commission will begin issuing petitions to individuals seeking to run for offices in the May 3, 2022, Knox County Primary Elections on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 8 a.m.

 

TIMEFRAME

 

Beginning December 20, petitions can be obtained between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays at:

PLEASE NOTE: The Knox County Election Commission will be closed on the following days:

 

  • Friday, December 24 (Christmas)
  • Monday, December 27 (Christmas)
  • Friday, December 31 (New Year’s Day)

The qualifying deadline to return a petition for a race on the May 3, 2022 ballot is Thursday, February 17, 2022 at NOON.
