Knox County Parks & Rec to Host Third Annual Glow Party
Knox County Parks & Recreation will light up Ball Camp Park from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, for the second annual Glow Party.
The free event will feature a neon dance party, audio-controlled lasers, blacklights, glow-in-the-dark activities, music from many decades, a foam pit, body and splatter paint zones, themed concessions, and glow stick giveaways.
Folks are encouraged to wear bright, fluorescent colors and comfortable clothing that can get messy.
“We are working hard to create experiences that highlight the best of what these parks and their neighborhoods have to offer through creative, non-traditional social events,” said Joe Mack, senior director of the Knox County Parks and Recreation Department.
Concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase. Please note, however, that alcohol is not permitted at this event.
Ball Camp Park is located at 8734 Ball Camp Pike.
