Broker/Owner Jeff Grebe of Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage Plus in Knoxville and Marketing Director Brad Hicks were recently honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) organization for their contributions to the Cavett Station Cemetery in the West Hill community.
Grebe received DAR’s Community Service Award for his company’s financial contributions to the organization, while Hicks received recognition for his photography work at the historic cemetery where men and women from the American Revolution era are buried.
The contributions from Grebe, Hicks and Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage Plus will be used to preserve the site, repair markers, re-mark graves and help document the history of the men and women buried there.
“We are so grateful to be part of this wonderful project and encourage others to get involved to help promote our amazing Knoxville community and its history,” said Grebe.
